On The Right Lead October 2024

We are galloping into Fall at a fast clip! The weather can’t decide what season it is, but the horses are putting on their winter coats as the days grow shorter, so we know it is coming. And when Fall is here so are … the Holidays!

Mark your calendars for October 26, when Rainbow will get into the Halloween spirit with our annual Pet Costume Contest! Special deals and a lot of fun, including this year you can Stuff A Kong for donation to our local animal shelters. Bring your pet in costume to save on that day’s purchase. Just kicking off the spooky season with Rainbow Ag!

With this hot weather, there’s still plenty of flies out there – check out this month’s Subscriber Coupon for Rescue Fly Bags. Buy one, get one free! Fly traps are an environmentally friendly way to rid your barn, paddocks or yard from pesky flies.

Fall is also the time that we deworm our horses after the first frosts, to rid them of any Bot or other worm infestations they might have picked up. Not all deworming products target bots, one of the most destructive types of parasites. Quest Plus is a truly broad-spectrum deworming gel, and you can save $4.00 with this extra Subscriber Coupon! Protect your horses from the intestinal damage caused by Bot larvae with Quest Plus Gel.

Trivia! Enter to win a $15 Rainbow Gift Coupon. All correct answers are entered in a random drawing.

The September question was, what is something that you can learn at the Lake County Horse Council’s Horse Faire? Our winner is Barbara Burica with the correct answer that you could learn to drive a pony (which is a lot of fun, by the way.)

The October question is, where could you learn about Ranch Versatility this October?
