Many dogs LOVE to play in the water, but natural water features such as lakes and rivers can also carry hidden dangers, including Blue Green Algae which produces a deadly toxin. One way to play it safe is to provide your pet with his own pool – and Rainbow has ‘em! Plastic wading pools work perfectly for dogs to enjoy some wet fun. A more durable option is a low-sided stock tank. Maybe your pup will even share with you?

Did you know? Rainbow also carries flotation vests for all sizes of dogs! Keep your pup safe when out boating, playing on the beach or in the river!
It’s Fair season and Rainbow is there, supporting our local FFA and 4H youth exhibitors! Join in the fun by attending a local fair and watching the competitions, or sign up as a bidder for the livestock auctions. Learn something new by watching a competition that you have never seen before, such as the Round Robin Showmanship classes where the first place winner of each division handles each type of animal. In Small Animal Round Robin Showmanship, for example, each exhibitor must demonstrate competence with Poultry, Pygmy Goats, Rabbits, Cavies, Dogs and Turkeys. Large Animal exhibitors handle Horses, Sheep, Goats, Swine, Beef, and Dairy Cattle. That’s a lot of showmanship going on!
The Redwood Empire Fair takes place in Ukiah August 4 through 7th, with Large Animal Round Robin scheduled for Friday, August 5 at 4:00 PM in the Racine Pavilion. Small Animal Round Robin will follow at 7:00 PM in the Junior Show Ring.
