Thanksgiving is coming and there is so much to be thankful for! Near the top of many gratefulness lists are our pets – bringers of joy, love and pet hair to our homes. What would we do without that warm purr or happy tail wag? Let your favorite critters know how you feel with a special Thanksgiving treat! While there are some Thanksgiving meal items that are okay to share with our pets, many come with risks. If you are preparing the meal in your home, also be aware of your pup or kitty helping themselves. While the story of Uncle Fred’s Boxer swiping the whole turkey off the table, and all the cousins chasing him through the yard to retrieve it, might bring laughs in later years, that dog could have ended up at the Emergency Vets!
