Rainbow Wags December 2025

The Holidays are here, and the weather outside is frightful! Keep your whole family warm and cozy with sweatshirts, jackets and beanies from Carhartt, Ariat, Wrangler and more! Your pets will appreciate a soft new bed, or a dog sweater to keep off the chill on the evening walk. Stuff their stockings with tasty treats, toys or puzzles, and keep them healthy with quality pet foods for all kinds of pets, be they babies or seniors. Rainbow has it all!

December Subscriber Coupons

Give a gift that is truly appreciated by donating pet food, toys, treats and supplies to our local shelters and rescue groups. There are donation bins at Rainbow stores for our local organizations that do so much to help homeless pets, and to help people in need keep their pets fed and warm. Many of these groups have Pet Food Pantries – if you are in need of help to feed and care for your pets, please contact your local organization. The shelters are overflowing and every little bit helps! Learn more and donate to your local shelter or rescue -

The Mendocino County Kennel Club is planning a lot of fun with our dogs in 2026. Start the New Year off right with the monthly Fit Walk, held on the last Sunday of each month – December 28, January 25 and February 22. This group dog walk begins at Skelly Dogs Training, 275 Cherry Street, Suite F, Ukiah, at 3 PM. The walks on the Great Redwood Trail are one hour, and the event is free! Just drop in, or for more information call Nancy Skelly at (707)513-5738.

On February 7, it’s Circus Dog Day! This is a Mendocino Kennel Club Fundraiser – bring your dog and club members will demonstrate and teach humans to train their dogs to do tricks! The Skelly Dogs studio will be decorated and much fun will be had! To register for Circus Dog Day, contact Nancy Skelly at (707)513-5738 or skellydogs.com.
