Welcome to spring! It's the season of bunnies, chicks, and weeds. Don't worry, Rainbow is here to help.
First off, come on in tomorrow, March 21, for Chick Day, where everything poultry is being celebrated. Each store has different events, so check out the flyers and come on in to save big on chicks, poultry feed, and learn something new.
Your hens will be cluckin' happy!
At the Ukiah Rainbow Store, on the same day as Chick Days, there is also the 4-H Spring Field Day. Come on over, grab some lunch, and pet some darling little bunnies. This Spring Field Day is presented by our local 4-H members and will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Ukiah store.

Keep up with those weeds with some new outdoor power equipment from Rainbow’s outdoor power department.
The new battery-powered outdoor blowers, mowers, and string trimmers can make your yard look sharp in a short time and keep the environment cleaner while doing it.
The Rainbow OPE department specializes in Stihl, Husqvarna, and Milwaukee equipment, both fuel and battery. Come on in to see what's new.

Spring is always the busiest season at Rainbow. Everything's growing, and we enjoy seeing all of you and learning what you're up to for spring and summer. Now's the time for 4‑H and FFA youth showmen to prepare their projects. Get expert advice from our trained staff, no matter whether you’re showing cavies or cattle. Watch for upcoming seminars about raising and showing your project animals.

The Mendocino County Kennel Club's Farm Dog Trial was a great success, and everyone had a good time demonstrating how well their dogs behave around the farm. The Kennel Club will be holding another Farm Dog test this fall. Follow them on their Facebook page to keep up with all the activities. And don't forget, you can go on the Rail Trail Fit Walk on the last Sunday of each month from 3–4 PM, beginning at Skelly Dogs Training Studio. Call Nancy Skelly, 707 513 5738, for more information.

Our local animal shelters always appreciate support from the community. They can’t do it without us! Rainbow makes supporting our local rescues and shelters easy, with donation bins in the stores and you can donate directly to the individual rescue group’s account. Just ask the cashier and make a donation next time you are in Rainbow.
