Fair season is upon us, with the Redwood Empire Fair opening August 6 and running through August 9. This fair is the first of the season for many of our local FFA and 4-H members, so come down and support your neighbors and friends. Rainbow will be there in the buyers’ seats on Saturday August 8 for the Mendocino County Junior Livestock Auction. It is always exciting, and our pleasure, to see the accomplishments of the kids who come in Rainbow stores, attend the seminars and clinics, and put so much hard work into their projects.
